FACES OF URBAN FORESTRY – JESSICA BRITTEN

Jess is the Forestry Intern with Cheyenne Urban Forestry. She grew up in New Jersey and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from King’s College. After working as an Outdoor Educator in upstate New York, Jess joined us in Cheyenne to work on marketing and educational programming while learning an introduction to urban forestry.
She has had community outreach experience working with nonprofits like Volunteers of America and is applying what she has learned to Rooted in Cheyenne. She will be with our team until September 2020.

Jess’s favorite trees are the Tulip Poplars because they are the widest and tallest shade trees she has seen on the east coast.
