Board Members help shape the future of Rooted in Cheyenne. As a member of the Board of Directors, you’ll work alongside passionate community leaders, volunteers, and supporters to advance our mission of growing and caring for Cheyenne’s urban forest.

Board Members provide strategic guidance, community connections, and organizational oversight while helping ensure Rooted in Cheyenne remains sustainable and impactful for years to come.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about community improvement, environmental stewardship, leadership, and making a lasting difference in Cheyenne.

Volunteer Form

What You’ll Do

Attend quarterly board meetings and participate in organizational planning.
Help establish goals, priorities, and long-term strategies.
Serve as an ambassador for Rooted in Cheyenne within the community.
Support fundraising efforts, partnerships, and community outreach.
Participate in at least one committee.
Advocate for the value of trees and green spaces throughout Cheyenne.
Support staff and fellow board members in advancing the organization’s mission.
